Services and Fees

Which areas do we cover?

We primarily cover the North West of England but we will consider other areas, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch to discussenquiries@myweddingwitness.co.uk

Out of area?

Did you know that your Ceremony does not need to be in your local area? – You only need to give notice at your local Register Office (sign a legal statement to say you intend to get married or form a civil partnership) – you can have your official Ceremony in any town or city that you wish! You must give notice 29 full days before your Ceremony, but you can give notice up to 12 months in advance.

A Northern Ceremony

Have you considered having your ceremony in the North West of England?

We have frequently witnessed Ceremonies in our local cities of Liverpool and Manchester.

We also frequently travel to towns and cities further afield such as Leeds, Sheffield, Chesterfield, Bradford, Carlisle, Preston, Chester, Blackpool, Lancaster, Clitheroe, Ormskirk, Ambleside, Appleby, Congleton, Macclesfield, Dewsbury, Oldham, Kendal, Carlisle, Clitheroe, Prescot, Stockport, Bury, Bakewell and many others.

If you wish to use our services, why not consider combining your special day with a romantic break away?

We can then provide you with Professional Witnesses so that you can have the private, intimate Ceremony that you wish to have, and by moving closer to our base, you will save money.

Witness Illness, or Injury

In the event of the above or some other unavoidable impediment to the Witness whose name you may have been given just prior to the ceremony (often asked for by Registrar – but not always) http://www.myweddingwitness.co.uk will provide a suitable replacement Witness. You would be notified immediately. This will not cause any issues with the Registrar or our attendance as your Witnesses at your Ceremony.

Postponement or Cancellation of Confirmed Ceremony Dates – Cancellation Fees

Should you decide to cancel your booking, the following sliding scale of charges will apply:

Calendar months/weeks’ notice before the date of the ceremony:

6 months prior to the Ceremony date – 50% of any fee paid will be refunded

3 months prior to the Ceremony date – Full Ceremony attendance fee, no monies paid will be refunded

The above reflects potential revenue lost due to being unable to book another Ceremony on the same day due to travelling/attendance commitments.
